Noclipped v1.1 coming very soon
Noclipped hasn't been updated for a while. Luckily for you Noclipped v1.1 is just around the corner with major upgrades and new game mechanics!
Noclipped V1.1 AKA "The User is not a Loser" update massively improves the user interface by adding floating widgets, a small but useful hotbar and tons of quality-of-life upgrades.
Here is a detailed list of some of the additions/improvements:
Building and outpost upgrades:
1. Campfire respawn. You will respawn at the nearest campfire to your death spot. If there is no campfire, then you respawn in the center of the level. Campfires have a floating HUD element, that is visible when you're 150m away
2. Reality bender. This structure allows you to teleport to another one instantly instead of walking all the way to the destination, encouraging people to create outposts in the later game for ease of travel. However it requires you to place another one somewhere else. Using LCtrl you can change whether you're going to teleport to the nearest location, or to the farthest location
3. Farms. These farms can create some farmable materials infinitely. You will be able to craft Almond and Mushroom farms, making food and water fully renewable
4. Sirens. Sirens create a loud sound, that lures entities towards its location. You can use this to setup traps or permanently distract entities from your location in a specific radius
5. Beacons. Beacons create a floating HUD element that is visible through walls for kilometres. A very great way of marking the location of an outpost
UI/HUD Improvements:
1. Item indicators. These indicators represent a small dot that pulsates and is visible through walls. The dot marks the location of a nearby item, or something that you might want to check out.
2. Floating menu. If you look directly at an item you will see it's properties in a floating menu. Different things have different menus including: Items, entities, advanced structures and ores
3. Hold E to interact. From now on instead of instantly picking up something you need to hold down the E key. Every object you can interact with has a circular progress bar that represents how long you've been holding the E key. When the bar fills up you interact with the object
4. Status bar redesign. The new design is thinner and takes up less space.
5. Directional damage indicator. When you get damaged an arrow appears, showing the direction the damage was caused from
6. More settings. You can now control the volume of the surroundings, the sounds the player makes, the volume of entities and music. You will be able to turn off view bobbing
7. Hotbar. The first 5 slots can be swapped easily while holding F and selecting an item in the appeared pie menu. It always updates to the first 5 slots of your inventory
8. Crafting menu redesign. The recipes are now in a compact and user friendly grid pattern. Tooltips help with recognising which item is what.
Entity and AI Improvements:
1. Sight and Hearing. Instead of chasing you when you get too close the entities now have a proper vision cone and a hearing sphere. When you land, run or throw an item you emit sound. Entities can hear this sound and investigate. When entities see you they don't immediately start chasing you. Rather they give you some time (around 2.5 seconds) to hide
2. Complete duller redesign. The old duller design looked like spaghetti, and the animations were looking like they were made by a "profesional animmator (grammatical errors intended)" that learnt how to animate in Mine-Imator. The new duller design is more original and has actual effort put into the animations and texturing
3. More variety in entity sounds. Entities now have different sounds. Especially smilers
Other features:
1. Loot boxes. You can occasionally find unlocked cabinets or broken vending machines, that you can loot. These have randomly selected items inside, that may be crucial to your survival
2. Smoking campfires. Campfires now emit smoke. This addition is purely for decoration purposes
3. A bunch of new items. These items are used for making the crafting more complex and balanced
4. Minor additions. FOV changes, small screen shakes and other small things I don't remember
